    GMP - The Power of the Group

    The Power of the Group was my graduate project at Bournemouth University. I created an interactive installation which gave each person a unique experience. The aim of this project is to group together and build an image. The project functioned by having two kinect, when an audicine memebr walked into the area, the kinects would pick this up and display about part of the image.

    Vermillion

    Vermillion was my final project for college and I took all the skills that I had learned during my two year course and incorporated them into the video. I used Cinema 4D create the 3D graphics and flash to produce most of the 2D graphics.

    OneDotZero

    I created three different adverts to be shown on the escalators of the London Underground, for the One Dot Zero event. One Dot Zero is a cultural technology festival showing things from short films and animations, to motion graphics, interactive and digital installations.. I used Flash to create the themes for the advertisements which echoed elements that were shown at the event. .

    Composting

    A tutor had told me about Compositing and shown me a tutorial about it. Thinking it might be some fun I followed this tutorial. I created the text within Cinema 4D and placed it with in After Effects. This was my most basic and easiest dive into After Effects, but this fuelled my interests to use it within other projects. .

    Hex

    Hex was the result of a project to create an agency and interactive installation. The installation lets the audience see themselves interacting/playing with the falling hexagons.

    Jurassic Coast

    This aim of this project was to increase visitor numbers to the Jurassic coast . To achieve this I proposed to stage an event, involving a projection on to the cliff side, where native fossils came to life. The graphics for this project were created in Illustrator and I used after effects to create the animation.

    DesignerCrowe

    I created this website, which functions as my portfolio, while I was at university. I used foundation as a base, as I like what it does with its responsive design, and I wanted my work to be able to seen on mobile and tablet devices. I am still learning and honing my web design and development skills so expect this webpage to be changing as I learn more.

    Kingston Cultural Olympiad

    This was a project to create a logo for the “Go Kingston 2012” project which was part of the cultural Olympiad. I used Illustrator to create the logo. The logo is made up of the outline of the slanting telephone boxes which are located in Kingston town centre, the horse represented the work of local artist Eadweard Muybridge and the fish represented Kingston’s Borough logo.

    Bridget Riley Exhibition

    Bridget Riley’s art is kinetic and I thought it would look dynamic within the confines of a motion graphic. I used Flash to create the graphics but I originally used Illustrator to clean the images up and make them more useable within Flash.

    Spotlight

    Spotlight was a group channel project to create a web series and we creates a murder mystery game. I was director, editor, camera man and actor. I used Premiere to put all the footage together.

    Branding Motion Graphic

    This Brand Extension project was one of my first solo projects at uni. I had to create a brand or choose an existing one and create or redesign their logo and brand identity. I decided to create my own in the fashion of 1up games. 1up games is a video game company sporting a retro or “old school” feel.
